Fourth of July: Lake Tahoe

Because I am a serious planner, I booked an Airbnb in Lake Tahoe for the Fourth of July back in February. Then, after five months of nearly forgetting that I had purchased the rental property, it was suddenly America’s Independence Day.

On Saturday, eight of us rented a boat and cruised around Lake Taheezy in style. We circled Emerald Bay before anchoring farther North. The weather was perfect, the drinks were cold, the lake was frigid. All in all, a great last weekend trip in NorCal and a perfect opportunity to start testing out my new GoPro.
